A note on the blog name.

"The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" is a passage from the bible, Jeremiah 17:9 to be precise, but im totally not religious, and even if i was i'd be a Quaker or something that likes homo's (im not gay im just really confused), anyway Laura Albert via the pseudonym Jt Leroy wrote a book called "The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things", its about a prostitute called Sarah and her cross-dressing, child prositute son, sounds grim but its my favourite book, really beautiful writing. The passage was also used in the open pages of Truman Capotes "Other Voices, Other Rooms" one of my favourite books by one of my favourite writers. And just to bring the tone down to a depressing level, i read the bible passage at my nephews funeral. (and because this is supposed to be an art blog i was witty and made a pun on the word heart).
